In a previous Post, we made a "Study of Death Count and Estimation in 2020 by countries - Long-term perspective" in which estimates of mortality for 2020 were made by country according to two criteria: normal (or Lower Range ) and pandemic (or Higher Range).
We leave you the results of the Study compared with the 2020 total Mortality values for each country in the following Check Table.
In this Post we are going to analyze the 17 countries of the previous Study, their published and/or found 2020 mortality data and their source. We will include this data in the Historical Mortality Table by country and we will draw the definitive Long-Term Mortality graph from 1960 to 2020 with the data we have today.
It seems important to remember that although it seems contradictory, mortality is not a closed number but an open and living number. There are many different cases, but it is logical that there are deaths that because they are subject to official investigation, or simply because the bodies are not found in a period close to death, the inclusion of these data in the records can be delayed even years. Obviously, over time this number tends to be less and less, but we have found it remarkable after studying it.
In the case of this Post, we only review the mortality figure for 2020 with official values or, failing that, news that refer to them.
This Analysis is unofficial and independent, carried out with the available data and with basic tools, so it may be subject to errors, and is merely informative. However, the long-term perspective of the Study means that certain assumptions or calculations should not give a high margin of error in a long-term context. The Analysis, in any case, is open to improvement and review, if someone finds an error in any specific data or methodology that could be wrong or not as precise as it should, they can contact us to provide us with the data and the source, and that the analysis can be corrected, corrected or improved.
