2020 - The Year of Discrediting (Part 1)

Reflections on the past year 2020 and the beginning of 2021

If an adjective or qualifier were to be used for this unfortunate year 2020, once it has passed, it would undoubtedly be, in our opinion, The Year of Discrediting, of the generalized discredit it could be said, at least for a part of the population, that each time goes to more.

So many things have happened that you have to make a calm summary about the pre-pandemic photo, and the subsequent evolution of events, because in this world we live in, we are buried in news and news, so that sometimes it is difficult to catch a glimpse broader, and look at the facts as a whole.

Let's go in parts, let's start with one of the most important:

The Discrediting of the Political Class: We already knew before 2020 that politicians and more in Spain, with so much gauging, tend to indulge in scams or jobbery, as has been said on occasion. This was seen from the people as a lesser evil to improve, but of the type: "as long as it is not much ...".

In practice, the political parties alternated in power, which indicated a supposed “democratic hygiene”; There was a distribution of reasonable budgets and investments to Autonomous Communities, Provincial Councils and local administrations, in short, corruption seemed a lesser evil.

It was understood that it was somehow cross-cutting for most political parties to seek greater funding for their campaigns, and their own enrichment, nothing new under the sun.

This, in a democracy barely 40 years old, as it was a bit the reality of the street, and the judicial system as well as we know. But it was, even tolerable, it was seen as a lesser evil because really in Spain people lived well. We had our culture, our sun, our gastronomy, our cities and towns, our attraction for tourists, our freedom.

We boasted of living on the streets. Consumption was good, the economy was important, the benefit of the self-employed and small entrepreneurs was the benefit of the state. It was like this before 2020 and until the Pandemic Declaration of 03/14/2020.

Before continuing, let's remember what the “scenario” was like a few months before the Pandemic Declaration of March 14, 2020. We do it through some news of the time:

Everything was normal until the Pandemic Declaration of March 14, 2020 arrived. Suddenly in the middle of the play the curtain was lowered, and all the actors were left without on the "stage" in which they felt comfortable, a " scenario ”used during the more than 40 years of the Constitution (left and right, independence and constitutionalism), and that suddenly changed abruptly, and it seems that without prior notice. And all this has been done in the middle of the show.

The opposition parties looking at what role to take in this new staging, but without fulfilling their opposition role, without defending the obvious, the Constitution and fundamental rights.

It is evident, in our opinion, that from politics there is not a Precautionary Principle towards citizens. The mere fact that the WHO says one thing, and here we want to take care of the citizens beyond what the WHO itself says, makes them truly irresponsible. It is as if a doctor prescribes a child a medicine with a few doses a day, and the father, because he wants to show that he protects his son a lot from him, gives him double or triple the prescribed medicine, which is reckless .

This has occurred in the case of the mandatory mask in a generalized way in public places when the WHO advises it specifically, it was already a nonsense at the time, remember, recommended by a "Scientific Committee" that ended up being non-existent (or unpresentable ). But continue today ... absurdity. That it be imposed on children of the developing age of their brain… it has no name, and if it does, it will have to be ruled by a competent judicial authority for something of this kind.

In practice and as a minimum, it is still the mandatory nature of the mask, a disguised tax on breathing in public places, since the state not only collects VAT from them, but also company tax from the selling companies of masks so it is a Big Business for the State. And to top it all, in addition to paying to breathe, the air is of poor quality due to the rebreathing of our own CO2. What times were those when it was said that it was healthy to breathe pure and clean air ... Certainly, they care so much about our health that we will end up thinking that they want to take it away from us.

With this, and going back to the thread, we have seen unimaginable things in this year 2020: independence or nationalist parties that no longer see a problem in “submitting” to the “oppressive” Spanish state, that pressure so that the central government confines its people and take restrictive measures of rights and freedoms, using a supposed common good as justification, so that later, "constitutionalist" parties also adopt them as a protection for their citizens. And vice versa.

The pattern is evident, one community has to start the “new proposal” and get mixed up a bit, and another community with an opposite sign has to try it for a period, and if it slips, then the rest follow. There is no real political opposition, the rest of the communities regardless of the political sign that it is, will assume it later. It is best to see it with an example:

Mr. Torra of the JxCat party (President of the Autonomous Community Catalonia and “independentist”) already in April 2020 began to threaten the central government with imposing total confinement and the mandatory mask in public places, as can be seen in the following news:

Subsequently and after a few months, at the end of June 2020, it was Mr. Feijoo of the PP (President of the Galician Community, from the "center-right") who began the installation of the masks (in practice mandatory) in open or closed public places.

To later follow him in Mr. Barbón of the PSOE (President of the Asturian Community, of "lefts"), and the rest of the communities were falling one by one in a period of less than two months.

We left you the links to the Legislative Chronology of news regarding the Obligation of the Mask in all the Autonomous Communities of Spain.

As you can see, such an unpopular measure has been agreed, since on this, it seems that politics is currently banned. We believe that it was not by chance that Mr. Torra (a politician who had already been amortized for his disobedence cause in the Supreme Court) started the debate on the mandatory mask, and that the first to apply this measure in practice was Mr. Feijoo (a politician with an absolute majority recent). Political strategy in pure state, come on.

The government began this State of Alarm, which has now become chronic through its Delegation to the Autonomous Communities and has left citizens in a limbo of autonomous Taifa kingdoms with the capacity to legislate unconstitutional regional laws in relation to health.

According to the last “Proposal of Law to modify the Law 8/2008 of Health of Galicia” voted and approved, currently pending final approval, and which borders on the unhealthy in terms of respect for the Constitution and Human Rights declaring legal, among others, the Submission of people to mandatory treatments, PCRs and vaccinations, the internment of "suspicious" people in isolation centers ", and niceties of the style that remind us all of mistakes made by politicians of the past ...

The Proposal of Law can be consulted in the following link on the website of the Parliament of Galicia.

Will the pattern be repeated? Many of us already smell the toast, but it will be necessary to see it, the truth that it would already be an offense to the intelligence of citizens and voters, although of course, in the face of policies agreed in advance, what more do citizens give?

It seems to be glimpsed that the "scenario" for the "new normal" that our politicians are already preparing with the intention of continuing to advance in this kind of pseudo-democratic Chinese model, for which, incidentally, they have not asked us, nor do they intend to do so, it will be based on a right pro-vaccine compulsory, a left that "will believe that it should not become necessary for the vaccine to be compulsory", and the rest, we will see, I suppose that intermediate positions in this sense, seen what has been seen, and of course more independence rattle of the old times, that something has to be discussed in front of the gallery….

Our politicians (all of them) are really giving us a master class on what they understand by "Democracy", and we cannot but deeply appreciate that they open our eyes so clearly in this regard.

The absurdocracy could be defined as a new system of organization of the State in which good sense, reasoning and the precautionary principle in its policies, have been in the background overshadowed by a declaration of the Pandemic in 2020 by the WHO, which is used as an excuse to restrict / eliminate the rights of citizens at the same time that it allows the elaboration of new laws with which it is intended to perpetuate this situation of continuous Pandemic.

We have set out to test the Ubuntu operating system, based on Linux, a little fed up with the continuous mandatory updates at the worst times and attracted by the security offered by an s.o. that hardly has a virus because it is less widespread among the average user.
